Abstract

|
This research illustrates Art Therapy and its effects on self-esteem and communication. This program was to have a single-parent family and aim at attracting youth who is 13 years old. A period for study was on September 1 In 2006 to January 9 In 2007. It had 14 sessions for up to an hour per one or two weeks. Art Therapy program was classified for raising self-esteem of youth, for communication of father and daughter. For knowing definite about a result, it made use of self-esteem measure, communication measure, KHTP as a method. It was compared pre-grades and post-grades. Through this program, low self-esteem has become higher and negative communication has changed positive. This research has shown us the fact that Art Therapy affect self-esteem and communication.
